Eudlo locals may have noticed the beautiful fresh artwork on the wall at the new Rosebed & Finch cottage kitchen in Rosebed Street, due to open March 9.

The whimsical painting was a commission for Erin Bacchi, artist and Founder of Plantiful Life of Erin. “This commission was so special, because what Cheryse is doing at Rosebed & Finch is so aligned with my values. Our creative brands are from different industries, but truly complement each other.”

“I have been painting forever,” Erin said. “But I was really prompted to start selling my art in 2013 after returning from London, full of inspiration,” she said. “I had been painting for a few years and then took some time off after having a baby at the end of 2018. In the middle of last year I started uploading my work to Instagram and it has taken off to the point that I was struggling to keep up with demand. So I started making and selling prints of my artwork.”

In October 2020, Erin launched her website www.plantifullifeoferin.com and her artwork is now accessible to people all around the world. A successful gallery exhibition on the Sunshine Coast in November 2020 followed closely. And little wonder, as Erin’s peaceful, nature inspired work is light, fresh, warm and soothing, all at once.

“I currently offer two print collections, Vibrant Sky and Rainbow Daze,” said Erin. “But I am definitely keen to do more murals. I am just waiting for the right person, with the right wall.”
